The two things that decide your trip
First: the ticket. Standard Liverpool home league sales depend on membership and fixture eligibility. For a visit on a fixed date, compare official hospitality and the club’s named travel suppliers before booking flights. No membership purchase itself guarantees a seat.
Second: the geography. Anfield is about two miles north-east of the city centre with no train station of its own, so every journey ends in a bus, taxi or 25–30 minute walk. Getting out afterwards, with 61,000 others, is harder than getting in.

A two-stadium city
Liverpool's two major grounds now demand different plans. Anfield has no station at the stadium and concentrates visitors around buses, taxis and walks from the Northern Line. Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium sits on the northern waterfront, with matchday shuttles from the centre and a pedestrian route along the docks. If you are considering two fixtures, secure both official tickets before building the itinerary; dates can move and availability is not interchangeable between clubs.
