Anfield · Where to stay

Hotels near Anfield

Three hotels are genuinely walkable from the ground. Worth knowing first: Liverpool FC does not operate an in-stadium hotel, so anything advertised as "the Anfield hotel" is an independent business nearby.

Within walking distance

Hotel TIA ~300 m · 2–3 min walk
Walton Breck Road
The closest of the three to the ground.
Hotel Anfield ~400 m · ~5 min walk
Anfield Road
Known to store luggage for guests — useful given there is no storage at the stadium.
The Arc Hotel ~600 m · ~7 min walk
Near the ground
Still comfortably walkable on a matchday.

Should you stay near the ground or in town?

Staying by Anfield removes the post-match transport problem entirely — and that problem is real, since roughly 61,000 people leave at once and the Soccerbus and 501 both queue heavily.

The trade-off is that Anfield is a residential area about two miles from the centre, so you're away from the city's bars, restaurants and mainline station. If you're doing a full weekend rather than just a match, the city centre is usually the better base — you accept a bus or taxi on matchday in exchange for everything else being on your doorstep.

INDICATIVE PRICING — NOT FIXED

Reported 2026 ranges near the ground: roughly £120–170 on a standard night, £200–280 for a Premier League home weekend, and £300–400+ for derbies, European nights or Manchester United.

These come from a secondary tourism source and move constantly with demand — treat them as a planning guide, not a quote.
