Liverpool run official stadium tours alongside The Liverpool FC Story museum. Both are booked through the club's own website — and there's one practical trap worth knowing before you turn up.

How long to allow
Liverpool FC gives an approximate tour time of 80 minutes and recommends at least another 30 minutes for the museum. Allow a larger block once arrival, check-in and travel are included. Keep a train or airport departure comfortably beyond that block, especially if your luggage is at the hotel.
Standard tour or matchday tour?
The club lists a separate Matchday Stadium Tour and Museum product, with an adult advance price of £28. A matchday tour is not a match ticket. Its route and accessible areas can differ because the stadium is preparing for a fixture. Choose the product for the experience you want and check the date-specific booking description.
The luggage trap
This catches out visitors combining the tour with travel. The same A5-or-smaller bag rule applies, and Liverpool FC state plainly that "There are no luggage/storage spaces located at Anfield."
The club further warn that visitors arriving with large luggage "may be unable to take part in the tour", and that "refunds may not be offered". If you're coming straight from a station or airport, drop your bags first.
Build the tour into your trip
A non-match day usually gives a simpler itinerary. Pick the time after checking your arrival transport and where you can leave luggage. Keep your confirmation available offline and use the entrance instructions sent with the booking. For accessibility needs, contact the tour team before purchase so the chosen route and assistance arrangements fit your group.
