Who publishes these guides?

Matchday Abroad is an independent football travel publication. The current guides are prepared from club, stadium and transport information. They are desk research unless a page explicitly identifies a dated field visit and its contributor. Publisher attribution is not a claim that a particular person visited the ground or reviewed a booking.

What goes into a guide

We start with the task a visitor needs to complete: buying a legitimate ticket, choosing an arrival route, understanding a stadium entry rule or budgeting for a weekend. The guide names the sources behind its practical claims so you can return to the current operator instructions before making a purchase. Club ticket rules and travel arrangements can change during a season; the date on a page describes a source check, not a guarantee for every future fixture.

First-hand contributions

A field report must name the contributor, record when the visit took place and include original evidence. We distinguish a timed journey from an estimate and identify where event conditions may have affected it. We do not infer first-hand experience from a photograph alone, or present supplied marketing material as our own visit. See the contributor requirements if you would like to document a trip.

Editorial responsibility and corrections

Our contact route is hello@matchdayabroad.com. Include the page, the disputed detail and a first-party source when reporting an error. We assess corrections against the evidence and revise material facts when needed. Commercial arrangements do not determine which source is treated as authoritative.

Commercial links and estimates

Matchday Abroad does not issue match tickets or operate stadium tours. An official-source link is provided for verification; it is not automatically an affiliate link. A commercial link is labelled when a real partnership exists. Trip planner amounts come from the visitor, use one selected currency and are estimates rather than live quotations.
