Emirates Stadium away fans: ticket, entry and exit plan

The visiting club controls the ticket allocation. Build the rest of the trip around the issued ticket, Arsenal’s entry rules and a flexible north London return.

Quick answer

The decision before the detail

Buy the away ticket only through the visiting club’s allocation, use the entrance and turnstile stated on the ticket, carry no bag larger than A4, and contact the visiting club’s access officer in advance for individual support or parking. Check Arsenal and TfL updates again on matchday.

What to know first

  • Away tickets come from the visiting club.
  • Use the turnstile printed on the ticket.
  • Bags must be smaller than A4.
  • Visiting supporters should arrange access needs through their own club.

Four rules to resolve before an away visit

We reviewed Arsenal’s live matchday, stadium and disabled-access guidance on 6 October 2026. Because allocations and turnstiles can vary by fixture, the issued ticket and visiting club notice take priority over a generic online diagram.

01

Let the visiting club control the ticket plan

An away allocation is sold by the visiting club under its own eligibility and loyalty rules. A third party cannot create legitimate access simply by advertising a seat in the away end. Use the visiting club’s ticket page and keep the fixture email with the issued ticket.

Check whether identification, collection or a digital-wallet step applies. If the ticket is missing or incorrect, contact the visiting club first because it owns the allocation and can explain the fixture-specific process.

02

Approach the entrance printed on the ticket

Emirates Stadium is reached from several stations, but the useful route is the one that delivers the group to the correct side of the ground. Read the block and turnstile before leaving the hotel and use Arsenal’s matchday map with the visiting club notice.

Arsenal says general admission typically opens two hours before kick-off and recommends arriving at least 90 minutes early. Exact times can change. Early arrival protects against queues, ticket-help delays and a longer-than-normal walk through the managed crowd.

03

Carry less than the maximum

Arsenal’s live Help Centre says only bags smaller than A4 are permitted. Bags are inspected and tagged, and prams are not allowed or stored. A flight bag or suitcase should never be brought to the stadium in the hope that staff will find space.

Use the hotel or a verified city storage facility. Keep medicine or an essential item in the smallest practical bag and ask the club in advance if a medical or accessibility exception is required.

04

Arrange accessibility through the correct club

Arsenal provides accessible entrances and audio-description support, including for visiting supporters. The visiting club’s Disability Liaison or Access Officer is the normal starting point for away allocation needs and accessible parking requests.

Share the ticket details and requirement early. Accessible parking is limited, and post-match road closures can delay departure. Ask for the entry point, companion arrangement and return instructions that apply to the exact fixture.

05

Plan a different return if necessary

The post-match station choice may differ from the outward journey. Arsenal, police and TfL can use queues or pedestrian controls around Arsenal, Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington. Follow live instructions even if a saved route suggests something else.

Avoid a tight intercity train or airport departure. Agree a meeting point beyond the immediate stadium if the group separates and save a second route before entering the ground.
