Why your subscription stops working abroad
Football broadcasting rights are sold country by country. A broadcaster that holds the rights in one territory is contractually required to serve that stream only inside it, so streaming apps check your IP address and block playback when it resolves to another country. This is called geo-blocking, and it applies even though you are a paying subscriber.
It is not a fault with your account. The same login works normally the moment you are back in your home country.
The legitimate workaround: a VPN
A VPN routes your connection through a server in a country you choose. Connect to a server at home and your streaming app sees a home IP address, so it plays as normal. You are signing into your own paid account to watch content you are already entitled to — this is the use case VPN providers design for.
